GENESIS GV60 2025 VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL
mediumMy wife and I have both experienced intermittent power loss on the vehicle â specifically after stopping and restarting, such as at traffic signals. During these incidents, the car moves extremely slowly even with the accelerator fully pressed, before eventually resuming normal acceleration. This has happened 3â4 times between us, and on one occasion, the car nearly stalled in the middle of an intersection, which was genuinely frightening. I brought the vehicle to Genesis of Charlotte in mid-January 2026 for diagnosis. After multiple checks, the service team was unable to identify any issues and advised me to take the car back. When I asked whether they had checked with Genesis for any known reports of this issue, the service manager told me, "That's not how we work â we diagnose by ourselves." I was surprised by this response, as I have since found this issue reported by other GV60 owners online (including on community forums), suggesting it may be a broader, known concern.
GENESIS GV60 2025 SERVICE BRAKES
mediumBrakes failed completely and car rolled down a steep driveway and flipped.
GENESIS GV60 2025 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
lowThe 12 volt battery does not recharge resulting in the car going dead. All instruments are blank. The car has been in the dealer's service department since April 28 and they not been able to fix the problem.
GENESIS GV60 2025 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
lowThe 12 volt battery on the EV car has gone dead twice since I took delivery on the new car in January 2025. When that happens the car is completely dead and must be manually accessed to open the hood and jump start the car. The first time the car would function once jump started. The second time the car would not stay "running" and the battery had to be recharged for the car to function. This problem seems to be the same as the issue that prompted the recall of this car and others in the fall of 2024. It appears that the problem was not corrected in new cars produced.
