Brought to dealership last summer because car was stalling and knocking. It had the same symptoms as recall for engine. Told it didn't qualify because of VIN. They replaced another part that was a recall , but did nothing about actual problem. Brought it to a non dealership mechanic who replaced O2 sensor. Car was better briefly, but same problem started again. Car turned off in the middle of an intersection a few weeks ago. Called Hyundai and they said nothing was covered. Brought to gas station diagnosed replace engine assembly. A diagnostic code P1326 also came up- glow relay short circuit which is also under recall, but not this model. The car has 74,000 mi. This and other VIN numbers need to be included in recall. I am reporting so there is a record of it.
