The contact owns a 2025 Audi A6. The contact stated that while parked, the vehicle locked independently, trapping the driver and passengers inside. The failure occurred repeatedly; during the first two occurrences, unknown warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where a locking mechanism failure was diagnosed, and the vehicle was repaired; however, the failure persisted. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The contact stated that the vehicle was waiting to be towed to the dealer due to the same failure. The failure mileage was approximately 7,017.

The honk stopped functioning on January 21 2026. I noticed this when a car was moving into my lane on a major highway and I need to honk to alert them. Not being able to alert another drive that they are about to hit me puts me, the other driver, and potentially others at risk. I had to break hard, which is also a safety hazard. The honk has not functioned since, so it was not an isolated issue. No warning lights went on. I have scheduled an appointment with the Bridgewater dealership for Friday January 30.

The car started with charging issues, Audi said they performed an update that was supposed to fix the problems however they did not complete the update like stated. . The car on 2 occasions while driving MMI screen went blank almost caused me to crash. There was no indication or warnings I took it in again where it’s still at. . The vehicle has been in service several times without being repaired. The charging issue has been on going and does not allow charging or disconnects. on several occasions the car driver assist like lane change braking have gone off without warning.even after saving my preference due to it not saving preference. I have called their support we have tried reinstalling the app. I have been told each time at the Audi service it’s something different. Currently where it’s being serviced again it’s now the charging port. And the battery gets to hot and the previous Audi service didn’t complete the update.

driving vehicle down the highway with the cruise control on and it will suddenly slam on the brakes. decreasing the speed rapidly almost causing a rear end accident. Has been brought to drealer for repairs 5 times with no results still does it . to;d repair coming in 3rd quater of 2026 vehicle is dangerous to drive appears to be a problem with these cars do not believe ours is a isolated condition. feel vehicle should not be driven on road Does not give any indication that its going to happen or when just does it whenever it wants and occurs quite a bit
