JEEP WAGONEER 2025 ENGINE
mediumFor the past year I have been dealing with multiple vehicle failures with our 2025 Jeep Wagoneer. I have worked with my dealer a dozen times. Adnt he vehicle has been under service for roughly 13 weeks. Each time the dealership tells me the issue was a software update or they were not able to "recreate the issue". Our 2025 Wagoneer has been stalling out, shifting to park and then requiring a complete restart multiple times per week. This happens at low speed or at idle. On the afternoon of XXX, while driving the vehicle back from a different dealer for service of the same issue the vehicle stalled out completely on [XXX] just outside of [XXX]. Please see attached video. It is more than apparent that this vehicle is faulty and putting me and anyone else in my family that night drive this vehicle at risk. Over the past 7 months I have documented all issues and the dismissiveness of Herb Chambers Jeep Chrysler in Danvers, MA where we purchased/leased the vehicle from. Herb Chambers is stating I have to pay nearly $3000 dollars to exit our current lease. But, this is ridiculous as the vehicle is a danger to drive. Something bad will happen if our vehicle continues to be driven. And given the amount of time and energy I have wasted on trying to resolve these ongoing issues, Jeep/Stellantis, should actually pay me for the inconvenience. JEEP WAGONEER S 2025 FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
highI recently purchased this vehicle and had possession of it for only three days before it developed a serious braking-related issue. While driving, the ABS warning light illuminated, indicating that the anti-lock braking system required service. At the same time, the vehicle became noticeably more difficult to stop, requiring increased braking distance and significantly earlier brake application than normal. The failed component is currently at the dealership and is available for inspection. The illuminated ABS warning also disabled several advanced driver assistance features, including the collision avoidance and automatic emergency braking systems. As a result, important safety features designed to help prevent or mitigate collisions were unavailable while the warning lights were present. This malfunction created a significant safety risk to me, my passengers, and other motorists. On multiple occasions, the vehicle required substantially more distance to stop, increasing the risk of a rear-end collision, particularly if another driver stopped suddenly or cut in front of my vehicle. Because the collision avoidance and assisted braking systems were also disabled, there was no electronic backup available to help reduce the risk of an accident. The vehicle has been inspected by the selling dealership, where technicians confirmed the problem after the vehicle failed two separate diagnostic tests. The vehicle remains at the dealership awaiting replacement parts and repair. It has now been out of service longer than I have actually been able to drive it since purchasing it. The ABS warning light and related service messages appeared before the braking performance deteriorated. To the best of my knowledge, no crash or injuries occurred, but the defect significantly increased stopping distance and created an unsafe driving condition. Based on the dealer's diagnosis, the issue has been confirmed and is awaiting repair.
JEEP WAGONEER S 2025 FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
medium1) Keyless entry/auto lock/unlock has been an issue since we leased the car, and it remains. CarPlay maps on the dashboard are not in sync with reality (even on the short ride home) often displaying the steering wheel icon and/or â0 mâ directions that make no sense with the reality of where I was driving. After a brief stop on the way home, I turned the car on and the emergency brake initiated itself, as it so often has since we leased the car. This is made even worse by the fact that they turned off a collision safety feature to fix this issue, and it did not work or last even an hour of use.Battery regeneration levels unavailableâ issues once again appear with all the dysfunction that comes along with it (this is another ongoing issue). This time the car also appeared to drive very âjumpyâ even in âautoâ mode. I noticed on the highway and on the streets. The accelerator petal appeared to be hypersensitive in a way that it was not before which feels dangerous. After another short outing. Creep Modeâ that is supposed to maintain, did not. The screen got stuck on a weird parking screen weâd never seen. Then the screen went blank. We noticed the right fog light was out.The most alarming and critical dysfunction happened after we noticed cars following too closely. We tried to understand why when we got home and discovered the brake lights only illuminate when the car has come to a full stop, not when the regenerative braking is working (aka the car is slowing down). So as the car slows down, the brake lights do not illuminate, alerting other drivers that the car is slowing or stopping, which is critically dangerous! (HAVE PHOTOS OF ABOVE) 2) Several near-collisions have already occurred due to the brake light failureâon top of the other ongoing safety issues. 3) Provided photos to them, they are unable to resolve 4) Yes. JEEP WAGONEER S 2025 LANE DEPARTURE: BLIND SPOT DETECTION
mediumMain instrument cluster failed. There was no warning. Occasionally, the main screen would boot up slow. Currently at dealership where they diagnosed the screen to not be communicating. With the screen not working, it disabled the turn signals and the blind spot monitoring, would turn the "1 pedal drive" on and off randomly, no speedometer.
JEEP WAGONEER S 2025 FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
mediumThis vehicle has experienced three separate safety failures within only a few months of ownership. Incident 1: While driving with my children in the vehicle, the battery warning light illuminated and the vehicle immediately entered a low-power âturtle mode,â rapidly losing speed in traffic. The vehicle had to be towed to the dealership. Incident 2: While traveling approximately 60 mph, the hood latch failed and the vehicle immediately decelerated to approximately 20 mph, creating a dangerous situation in traffic. The vehicle again had to be towed. Incident 3: While pulling into my driveway, the vehicle displayed warning lights when shifted into reverse and went into transmission lock, rendering it immobile before losing power completely. In all three cases my wife and children were in the vehicle and were placed in unsafe situations. I am concerned this vehicle has serious safety defects.
