nuCamp, a name synonymous with quality and thoughtful design in the RV world, has once again expanded its popular Haven lineup. Following the successful launch of the Haven 220, the U.S.-based manufacturer has introduced the all-new 2027 Haven 190. This latest addition, revealed at the 2026 Hershey RV show, promises to deliver the brand’s signature blend of comfort and durability in a more compact package, proving that good things indeed come in smaller — and wonderfully functional — trailers.
The Haven 190 is positioned as the smaller sibling to the well-received Haven 220. While sharing many of the same premium features, finishes, and an unwavering commitment to quality, the 190’s standout achievement is its ability to offer a generous amount of comfort without any apparent compromises. This single-axle trailer is built on a robust BAL chassis and boasts an all-aluminum frame paired with a full composite shell. This construction strategy eliminates the risk of wood rot and mold, ensuring long-term durability. Visually, it echoes the larger Haven with its distinctive silhouette, featuring a striking large windshield and an expansive skylight overhead, designed to flood the interior with natural light and provide breathtaking views, even from the comfort of the bed.
When it comes to practical amenities, the Haven 190 comes well-equipped. Standard features include heavy-duty stabilizers on all four corners, a convenient power tongue jack, and a diamond-plate storage box on the tongue. This front storage unit is thoughtfully designed with multiple compartments, including dedicated space for a single propane tank. A power awning, complete with integrated LED strip lighting, extends the living space outdoors. Storage solutions continue with a large pass-through compartment at the front, perfect for camping gear and longer items. The Nautilus docking station, located on the off-side, offers further utility with an outdoor shower, a solar port, and controls for the tank heating pads, which are included as part of the optional Boondocking Package.
Inside, the Haven 190 prioritizes a comfortable sleeping arrangement. Unlike the 220’s options, the 190 features a near-queen-sized bed oriented east-to-west, providing partial walkaround space for enhanced convenience. Accessible from both sides and surrounded by ample storage, including under-bed compartments, this sleeping area is designed for maximum comfort. nuCamp’s attention to detail is evident in the Froli mattress system and the gas struts that support the bed platform, ensuring easy access to the storage below. Complementing the sleeping area are two wardrobes and numerous other storage solutions, making it easy to pack for trips, even during colder months.
The compact yet capable kitchen area includes a microwave and a good amount of storage, making it perfectly suited for preparing meals for two to three people on extended vacations. Opposite the kitchen, a dinette area provides seating and dining space. This booth dinette, technically seating four, is designed for efficiency and works best for two adults and perhaps a child. It features an adjustable table, overhead storage, a smart TV connected to a two-zone audio system, and the flexibility to convert into a single sleeping berth.
The 2027 nuCamp Haven 190 measures 98 inches (249 cm) wide and offers an impressive 82 inches (208 cm) of interior headroom. Standard on this model is rooftop solar power, a 100Ah lithium battery, and a 1200Wh inverter, with the option to upgrade to a more robust 270Ah battery and a 3000Wh inverter. Heating and hot water are managed by the efficient Alde system, while a Truma Aventa AC ensures comfort in warmer weather. The trailer requires a 30-amp power connection. For water capacity, the Haven 190 is equipped with 35 gallons (132.5 liters) of fresh water, 35 gallons for gray water, and 25 gallons (94.6 liters) for black water. The optional Boondocking package adds heating pads to the tanks for year-round usability.
