While Fiat is currently celebrating the simple joys of Italian life with its new Topolino Dolcevita quadricycle, complete with a charming soft-top, the company’s focus extends to practical innovation as well. Fiat Professional is making waves at IAA Transportation 2026 in Hannover, Germany, by unveiling the Tris, hailed as its “first three-wheeled electric micro-commercial vehicle.” Alongside this, they’re showcasing the new Fiat Doblo EasyPro, a model designed to deliver on robustness, versatility, and an impressive payload capacity of up to 1 ton.

Fiat has long been a master of the compact car and utility vehicle segment. In Europe, their offerings include the popular hybrid and electric 500, the stylish 600 B-segment crossover SUV, and the distinctive, boxy Grande Panda subcompact hatchback. Larger vehicles like the Ulysse are primarily aimed at shuttle services or commercial operations.

However, the automotive landscape in Latin America presents a different picture, with models like the Fiat Fastback compact crossover coupe-SUV and the Fiat Toro compact pickup truck. But what if there was a desire to bridge these distinct markets with a singular, globally relevant model? Enter Kleber Silva, a talented Brazil-based digital artist operating under the moniker “KDesign AG” on social media. Silva has taken on the ambitious task of envisioning a modern revival of the iconic Fiat 147 through a series of captivating CGI renderings.

The original Fiat 147, a subcompact three-door hatchback, enjoyed a production run in Brazil from 1976 to 1987, eventually being succeeded by the more widely recognized Fiat Uno. Its production continued in Argentina until 1996. Characterized by its signature boxy Italian design of the 1970s, the 147 remains a highly recognizable and beloved vehicle. Silva’s hypothetical reimagining proposes a revival that could even make its way to the European market, potentially as the “New Uno,” tapping into the nostalgic appeal of resurrected iconic nameplates, much like the recent renaissances of the Renault 4 and 5 E-Tech.

These unofficial, hypothetical designs paint a picture of a friendly and contemporary vehicle brimming with personality. This retro-modern Fiat 147 would be envisioned as a battery-powered electric car, designed to stand out amidst the growing influx of Chinese electric hatchbacks. Adding another layer to this creative exploration, Silva has also produced a second concept: an Abarth 147 (or Uno) variant. This sporty iteration boasts more audacious color schemes, an aggressive stance, and the unmistakable “Scorpionissima” treatment synonymous with Abarth’s performance heritage.
