The European RV scene is buzzing with anticipation as Adria Mobil prepares to launch its impressive 2027 model year lineup. Among the highlights, showcased at the prestigious Dusseldorf Caravan Show, is the brand-new Adria Alpina 663 PT, a travel trailer designed to redefine family travel with its generous living space and sleeping capacity for up to seven people.

While Adria has already teased some of its 2027 innovations for the premium Alpina series, the Alpina 663 PT made its debut at the show, offering a first look at this exceptionally family-oriented floorplan. This model distinguishes itself not only by its impressive occupancy rate but also by its departure from the signature panoramic windshield found on other Alpina caravans, presenting a unique aesthetic.

Measuring an impressive 8.63 meters (28.3 feet) in length and 2.46 meters (8.1 feet) wide, the Alpina 663 PT is a single-axle, widebody caravan. A significant upgrade for 2027 is the new 2,300-kg (5,070-lb) axle chassis. This addresses a critical limitation of previous iterations, which suffered from a mere 100 kg (220 lb) payload capacity – a figure clearly inadequate for accommodating seven occupants. Adria has clearly recognized this need, enhancing the trailer’s practicality for larger groups.

The front of the Alpina 663 PT houses a fixed bedroom area designed for comfort and style. It features an electrically adjustable queen-sized bed with a slatted frame and a premium mattress. The finishes are decidedly upscale, including faux leather trim, elegant residential-style curtains, and a wall mirror with an integrated organizer. Storage solutions are cleverly incorporated throughout, contributing to an overall ambiance reminiscent of a deluxe apartment, despite the numerous sleeping arrangements.

Moving into the heart of the caravan, the middle section is thoughtfully divided into a lounge on the driver’s side and a fully equipped kitchen on the campsite side, both benefiting from 2027 redesigns. The displayed unit showcases the optional Signature Lounge, a versatile U-shaped seating area with a table. One section of this lounge can swivel and lower to create a spacious double bed, perfect for accommodating two additional adults. Cabinets feature sleek, inwardly curved faces that minimize visual clutter, and the absence of handles, combined with ambient mood lighting, adds to the modern aesthetic.

The kitchen itself is a chef’s delight, boasting a large refrigerator with a freezer drawer. Space is also allocated for an optional microwave, which was included in the toured model. The rear of the trailer is dedicated to a well-appointed bunkroom on the off-side and a redesigned bathroom on the campsite side. The bunkroom, which comes standard with two beds and an optional third, now features redesigned hatch doors with integrated windows. The bathroom has been transformed into a full-featured space, moving away from the previous swivel sink design. Instead, it offers a stylish raised porcelain bowl on a vanity with built-in storage. A separate shower, a swivel cassette toilet, and proper ventilation are all standard. To compensate for the loss of storage from the sink, a felt organizer is mounted on the wall above the toilet.

Conveniently located just outside the bathroom at the very rear of the trailer is a generous wardrobe with a full closet beneath. The three children who will be sleeping in the bunkroom also have dedicated storage solutions. The showcased unit also featured the second-generation Truma Aventa air conditioning unit, mounted towards the rear, though this is an optional extra.
